Jordan Lowe, President and Chief Executive Officer

Jordan Lowe started ServerCentral in 2000. By forming close relationships with customers, he successfully anticipated their needs for high-availability hosting, colocation, and network connectivity. ServerCentral continues to lead the Chicago market in enterprise-class IT services.

Jordan went on to create or acquire several companies, including nLayer Communications (now Global Telecom & Technology, Inc.) and CacheFly CDN.

Daniel Brosk, Chief Operating Officer

Daniel Brosk is the co-founder of ServerCentral and today serves as its COO. His current initiatives include managed-service product development, optimizing data center installations, and lifecycle management of networking equipment.

Previously, Daniel was the driving force behind ServerCentral's successful SAS-70 and SSAE 16 audit certifications. He led several initiatives to develop and standardize ServerCentral processes around infrastructure and documentation. The resulting, more formalized customer service experience paved the way for ServerCentral’s expansion into five markets across three continents.

Daniel participated in the design and implementation of ServerCentral's 10-gigabit network backbone, overseeing the deployment of Dense Wave Division Multiplex systems in metropolitan areas that required 100+ gigabits of network capacity.

Avi Freedman, Chief Technology Officer

As Chief Technology Officer, Avi Freedman leads the definition, sales, and engineering of ServerCentral's cloud and VMware platforms.

Most recently, Avi was recognized as Distinguished Engineer and Chief Network Scientist for Akamai, where he oversaw the development and evolution of its network and content delivery technologies to new applications. He also led the growth and management of Akamai's globally distributed network from 250 to 1000+ networks.

Prior to joining ServerCentral, Avi served as Vice President of Engineering at AboveNet, and in 1992, founded the first ISP in Philadelphia. He held a number of roles at Akamai Technologies from 1999 to 2009, including Vice President of Network Architecture and Infrastructure and Chief Network Scientist. He is a frequent contributor to networking publications and conferences around the world.

David Heinig, Chief Financial Officer

David Heinig brings over 20 years of broad financial experience in accounting and business planning to ServerCentral. As Chief Financial Officer, David has executive leadership responsibility for all of ServerCentral’s financial operations and input on company strategy. A Certified Public Accountant, David is in charge of working with external accountants, auditors, and inquiring financial officers. He also gives executive financial briefings with prospective and existing clients.

David is an innovative problem solver who enables ServerCentral to further expand its business. He has served as Financial Monitoring Controls Director for Publicis Healthcare Communications Group, Vice President of Finance for Discovery Chicago, and Controller for Euro RSCG 4D Chicago.

Peter Berg, Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Peter Berg joins ServerCentral with over 20 years of sales and sales-management experience across a breadth of IT products and services. He has extensive sales experience with managed services, systems integration, IT outsourcing, and IP transformation.

Peter previously held roles of escalating responsibility at NCR, AT&T, France Telecom, Global Crossing and CompuCom Systems, where he led sales teams in delivering complex IT solutions to some of the largest companies in the world. At ServerCentral, he is responsible for both inside and outside sales, all marketing initiatives, and the retention and growth of ServerCentral's customer base.

Matt Paul, Director of Software Development

Matt Paul brings over 20 years of communications, systems, and real-time development experience to ServerCentral. He has successfully led teams in developing and architecting systems used in life/safety, business communications, and mission critical dispatch applications, and has extensive experience in software development, testing, quality assurance, and deployment.

Prior to joining ServerCentral, Matt served as Senior Director/VP of Engineering for Infocrossing/Wipro, was tenured as VP of Engineering for Intellireach, held a principal role at both Cambia Networks and MDSI, and is one of the founders of MX Sciences.

Tim Yocum, Director of Technology Operations

Tim Yocum brings over 15 years of experience to ServerCentral. As Director of Technology Operations, he is intimately involved in all aspects of systems administration and operations at multiple data centers. Tim guides the creation, development, implementation, and maintenance of ServerCentral's managed services portfolio; coordinates compliance with SSAE 16 controls; provides pre- and post-sale support for sales and sales engineering personnel; and works with the rest of the executive team in planning and executing technical and business initiatives.

Prior to joining ServerCentral, Tim designed and implemented fault-tolerant, scalable Internet infrastructure at Playboy Enterprises and worked as a Network Engineer at Verio, Inc.

Ron Winward, Director of Network Engineering

Ron Winward brings over 15 years' experience in designing high availability, carrier-class networks to ServerCentral. Prior to joining ServerCentral, Ron held various engineering roles at Choice One/One Communications designing complex service networks for the company, as well as its carrier and business customers.

As Director of Network Engineering, Ron oversees the IP Engineering team, as well as the design and growth of ServerCentral’s Global IP Network. He also assists with designing solutions for customers' unique networking needs.

Scott Lee, Director of Global Channels

Scott Lee leads the expansion and management initiatives of ServerCentral’s agents, resellers, and strategic partnerships. He has over fifteen years of multinational sales management experience across a full breadth of voice, data, and infrastructure services. Having led talented channel teams across three continents, Scott demonstrates notable success with international channel expansion. He built strong and sustainable relationships with some of the largest global providers in the world, including Orange Business Services, France Telecom, BT, and Global Crossing.

Scott previously held roles of escalating responsibility at nLayer Communications, Premiere Global Services, and Teliris.

Bethany Saxton, Director of Human Resources

Since joining ServerCentral in 2007, Bethany has led the ongoing staffing, compensation, benefits, training documentation, performance evaluations, and personnel-based audit compliance at ServerCentral. She brings a balanced blend of training, support, and HR experience to the team and has been a strong asset to ServerCentral’s talent management and employee relations.
