About Us

Jordan Lowe, CEO

Jordan Lowe started ServerCentral in 2000 and has served as its Chief Executive Officer since Day One. The company began by offering domain names bundled with web hosting accounts to early Internet customers. This strategy positioned the young company as an early leader in the domain name market. Within a year, ServerCentral’s base steadily grew to thousands of web sites.

By forming close relationships with his customers, Lowe successfully anticipated their needs for high availability hosting, colocation and network connectivity. To better serve those clients, he entered into long-term agreements to acquire wholesale space in several Chicago area data centers. This expansion also included the company’s entrée into the IP network business, as Lowe began building ServerCentral’s multi-homed Internet backbone network. The ServerCentral footprint quickly grew within a few short years from a single server rack to hundreds of racks in five markets, including Amsterdam and Tokyo.

Lowe went on to create or acquire several companies including nLayer Communications, an Internet connectivity company. Most recently, he piloted an expansion into DuPont Fabros’ state-of-the-art facility in Elk Grove Village where ServerCentral holds a long-term lease on an initial 10,000 square-foot footprint of high-power data center space.

The ServerCentral group continues to lead the Chicago market in enterprise-class IT services with several planned product developments, including their latest cloud-based computing initiative, and continued expansion of the colocation footprint and IP network both domestically and abroad.

Lowe graduated with a Bachelors degree from the University of Illinois.
