ServerCentral Completes Type II SSAE 16 SOC 1 Audit
ServerCentral, Chicago’s leading provider of managed data center solutions, announced that it has successfully completed the Type II SSAE 16 (Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16) SOC 1 (Service Organization Control 1) audit. This new AICPA standard, which became effective June 15, 2011, is the successor to the SAS 70 Type II standard, which ServerCentral was previously audited against.
In completing the SSAE 16 audit annually, ServerCentral assures its customers that company practices meet the highest standards. This audit evaluated ServerCentral processes, policies, procedures, and all operational activities to ensure optimal performance regarding the security, availability, and overall integrity of its data center facilities and information security, as well as human resources practices.
