Developed to enable new devices to connect to the Internet once IPv4 addresses run out, IPv6 is the new version of the Internet Protocol. Rather than encapsulate or translate each v6 packet, our Global IP Network has delivered line-rate performance for IPv6 to every single PoP seamlessly alongside existing IPv4 services since 2003. Our 100% native dual-stack (IPv4 and IPv6) network was one of the first to actually push IPv6 traffic.
